Drex’s Birthday fell on a Monday this year, and since he is in school now we decided to have the family over on Sunday, the day before his actual birthday to celebrate with us. I let Drex pick what would be on the menu for dinner and he chose his favorite soup (Zuppa Toscana soup from Olive Garden). Luckily there’s a great copycat recipe online that tastes just like it. We had salad and breadsticks with the soup for an authentic OG experience! For his cake he chose to have Strawberry Shortcake, a Broadbent tradition he has taken a liking to…always delicious, not to mention easy!!

Cousins are the best! We were bummed Jesse & Emily and the boys were still out of town during this time…they were missed.
Here are the boys enjoying their current favorite pasttime…playing ‘Beyblade’ and ‘letting it rip’!!! They pull the rip cords from the beys and battle eachother…I guess it’s the best thing ever!
We also set up a little ‘photo booth’ to take some silly, fun pictures of the kids:
